Angerer Alm St Johann in Tyrol - Arguably the most remarkable mountain hut in Austria In the best possible location right in the heart of the St Johann ski area on the Kitzbüheler Horn, the Angerer Alm can look back on 200 years of history, it is the oldest Alm on the Kitzbüheler Horn. Once known as the highest mountain farm in St Johann, it is now the homefrom-home for our guests. At an altitude of 1,300m, directly on the slopes and with the Wilder Kaiser right ahead of us, the clocks here really do go a little slower than down in the valley: Slow Food is not just a phrase, but everyday reality and enjoyment high up in Alpine loftiness.
