A holiday at Gmeiner farm entails you and your children experiencing the farming life and coming closer to nature. Our farm is quiet yet centrally located. Our new holiday apartment is furnished in cosy natural wood with particularly large and comfortable living room spaces. They offer a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. For children our farm is a paradise. Along with cows, calves, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pygmy goats, a Boer goat, sheep and hens, we also have a Haflinger mare and a miniature horse. In our outdoor area we also have toys and playing equipment and when the weather is bad the children can make use of our large playroom. Of course farmer Josef and the manager of the smaller animals Frieda are always glad of a helping hand in the barn.

From 3 nights stay with us you receive the Bregenzerwald Card. This means: This gives you free use from 1 May to 30 October of the mountain cable cars, the swimming pools and the public bus network. With this you can go for fantastic walking tours with smaller children, then jump into one of the lidos and, finally, light up the BBQ with us and enjoy some delicious food.

In summer there is a busy social programme on offer in Bizau and the Dörferkranz region, called Witus. Once a week Frieda will guide you up to the high alp and invite you for a typical Bregenz Forest snack.
