The guesthouse Gstrein, with its impressively beautiful flower decoration, is situated in the quiet centre of the village of Bad Hofgastein, only seven minutes away from our local station by car. Right outside our house Gstrein we offer secure parking for your car.  Our guesthouse furthermore lies right at the Alpe Adria cycling trail and invites cyclists as well as families and couples.

All our 14 rooms come with south-oriented balconies from where you can take in the picturesque view of Gastein’s mountain world at all times. After a beautiful holiday in Bad Hofgastein, the newly renovated and bright rooms that come with large windows, modern amenities as well as with bright and spacious baths and were decorated with great love for detail invite guests to dream away and enjoy their stay. A rich breakfast buffet in our large breakfast area with a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere guarantees the perfect start into the day. Thanks to the free ski bus that stops right outside our house, skiing enthusiasts can enjoy the many possibilities on offer at Salzburg’s mountain world to the full. The popular skiing area of Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel can be reached by bus within a few minutes only – there is nothing in the way of an unforgettable winter vacation day.

Summer in Gastein
In summer, the picturesque mountains, beautifully situated high-alpine and the nearby via ferrata trails invite guests to go hiking, as well as to enjoy unforgettable summer holidays with nature Yoga at the waterfall in Bad Gastein.
