Bauernhaus Unterleming

Following the motto "preserve the old, experience the new” the farmhouse "Unterleming" was renovated with much love and care in fall 2017. The body of the farmhouse , which dates back to the 17th century , was preserved and then refurbished by using new techniques and materials. The entire farmhouse, for example,  was  insulated with sheep wool. The cosy sitting room with its tiled stove is just a lovely place to spend relaxed, peaceful hours. Only 3 km away are the villages of Mariastein and Angerberg where you find shopping facilities, restaurants and cafes. The farmhouse can be reached by car throughout the year. Pets are welcome after prior request.

One of numerous hiking trails runs right past Unterleming farm. In summer the range of hiking options is wide – from the Adlerweg trail to Buchacker in Angerberg to the Hohe Salve panoramic mountain and to the highest peak in the Kitzbühel Alps, Torhelm mountain. Even those who don’t cycle often at home will grow to like this activity quickly here because of the extraordinarily diversified possibilities . Beginners, leisure cyclists and racing cyclists like to discover the various valleys while mountain bikers are drawn up to the mountains. Young and old swim fans will find refreshment at the moor lake in Kirchbichl – one of the oldest lidos in Tyrol- which offers not only pleasantly warm water temperatures but also the healing powers of the moor.

The ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental is only 13 km away and offers 284 km of pistes, 90 state-of-the-art lifts as well as over 70 rustic mountain huts. Here winter fun is one of the best worldwide. 13 km of floodlit slopes and 11 km of illuminated toboggan runs turn nights into days which allows you to make your turns down perfectly groomed slopes and toboggan runs even after sunset. No matter whether as a family, a couple, a group of friends or by yourself – SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental thrills everyone. Cross-country skiers will find their favourite place to be at the Nordic ski centre Angerberg/Mariastein where numerous trails await them – one of them even runs past Unterleming farm.
Of course, there is also a free ski bus commuting between SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental and Mariastein. The bus stop is ca. 400m from the farm.
